  3. Forgot to mention, they are adorable! We have not had chicks yet and are trying to figure out how to get them and where to put them where they would not get killed by the hens. Until then, I'll live vicariously through you and your sweet little bundles of fur (or rather, feathers!).

  4. We got chicks when my daughter was about four years old. We named them after characters from some of our favorite movies: Maria Von Trapp, Nelly Forbush, Ilse Lundt. Your pictures brought back some sweet memories.

    Prepare yourselves for plenty of eggs!
